Institute of Plant Protection - National Research Institute

The Institute of Plant Protection – NRI has been publishing almost since the beginning. It includes publishing scientific and popular publications in the field of plant protection.

We promote scientific and research achievements of IPP – NRI employees by publishing:

• methodologies of integrated protection of various agricultural crops,
• handbooks of signalling agrophages,
• scientific dissertation
• informants,
• conference materials.

We are preparing Zalecenia Ochrony Roślin Rolniczych (recommendations for the protection of agricultural plants), which are available an electronic version as a continuously updated database of plant protection products (www.ior.poznan.pl/baza/).

The Institute of Plant Protection – NRI is the publisher of two scientific journals dedicated to plant protection:

• Journal of Plant Protection Research (quarterly in English)
• Progress in Plant Protection (quarterly in Polish).

The main purpose of publishing publications (brochures, leaflets, posters) is to popularize the results of scientific research done at the Institute and to transfer them to agricultural practice.
