Institute of Plant Protection - National Research Institute

The Sośnicowice Branch Office in provides research, dissemination, implementation and other services in the field of plant protection and environmental protection in accordance with the mission of IPP – NRI: “Conducting research and dissemination activity within the scope of creating scientific and practical basis for the modernization of plant protection in Poland, including safety of protection measures for contractors, consumers and the environment.”

The experience of the employees of the IPP – NRI Sośnicowice Branch, resulting from many years of performing statutory activities constitute the necessary methodological, organizational and technical basis for the provision of services to entities operating in the area of plant protection and pesticide chemistry.

Each laboratory offers expert services in a selected field of research, thus ensuring the highest quality of their studies.

Plant protection

• Evaluation of the biological efficacy of plant protection products
• Expert analyses, technical studies and training
• Implementation experiments for new technologies in plant protection

Chemical analysis

• Analysis of residues of plant protection products in food, feed and plant material, soil and water
• Analysis of the content of active substances in plant protection products (commercial products)
• Analysis of physical and chemical properties of plant protection products
• Analysis of contaminations and breakdown products and metabolites
• Analysis of technical concentrates for the production of plant protection products
• Assessment of the originality of plant protection products (expertise for counterfeit suspicions)
• Preparation of evaluations, reports and comments to the registration documentation of plant protection products

Environmental protection

• Disposal of waste plant protection products and other hazardous waste
• Identification and elimination of contamination with plant protection products
• Ecological consulting
• Analyses of pesticide contamination at trace level
