The Department of Knowledge Transfer and Dissemination provides services in the area of disseminating the results of the studies conducted by the scientific employees of the Institute of Plant Protection ‒ NRI.

Two scientific journals are being published at the Department: the Journal of Plant Protection Research and Progress in Plant Protection. The Department also houses a library with an extensive book collection, bibliographic databases, electronic publications, catalogues and a reading room. The Institute's publications are also available for sale at the Department. Moreover, the unit offers postgraduate studies in integrated production and helps organise training courses, conferences for farmers, advisors, plant protection and seed inspectors and phytopharmaceutical companies.

Students of agriculture from universities and secondary schools are welcome to visit the Institute in order to learn more about our work.

The Department of Knowledge Transfer and Dissemination:

• publishes academic papers in two academic journals: in English in the “Journal of Plant Protection Research” (40 points of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education) and in Polish in the “Progress in Plant Protection” (20 points of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education),
• sells scientific journals and popular science publications published by the Institute, for example the integrated plant protection methodologies, atlases and plant protection recommendations in print and on-line,
• organizes post-graduate course in integrated production with particular emphasis on plant protection and organic farming,
• organizes trainings in the field of integrated protection of agricultural plants,
• organizes conferences, trainings, seminars,
• lending bibliographical collections.
